Norwegian Sashimi Fillets (Sushi Grade) – This new item from Storm Seafood brings salmon for use as sashimi and sushi to a whole new level. Fillets are processed in a short window of time that lapses between when the fish is harvested and when it enters rigor mortis.The fillets are immediately frozen giving the fillet a taste, texture and mouth feel which is totally different from salmon which has been matured after harvest and processed in traditional ways.The product has intense red color (24+ on the Roche scale). Trim is tight, no tail, no collar, no belly flap giving you just the high grade center cut of the salmon fillet.The bacteria count is also extremely low which makes this an extremely safe product for sushi and sashimi preparations.
