Devin Levine CEC
Chef Devin Levine CEC has been with Southern Hills Country Club for the last 28 years and has headed the kitchens as executive chef for 16 years. Devin began his cooking career at the young age of 12 years old at the Camelot Inn of Tulsa, working in all aspects of the kitchen and assumed his first executive chef's position at the Executive Dining Room in the Bank of Oklahoma tower at 19 years old.
Chef Levine is a 30 year member in good standing with the American Culinary Federation, completing the 3 year A.C.F.E.I. apprenticeship program 1977, obtaining his certified Chef de Cuisine status in 1985 and Certified Executive Chef status in 1990, 1995, 2000 & 2005. He is currently President of the American Culinary Federation, Tulsa Chapter.
Chef Levine was voted "Chef of the Year" 1989 & 2004", achieved two bronze & one silver medal in ACF approved culinary competitions, voted "Best Country Club Chef in Oklahoma" 1995 and has participated in many non-sanctioned culinary competitions.
He was Executive Chef in charge of all culinary operations during 1994 pga Championship, 1995 & 1996 Tour Championships and the 2001 U.S. Open Championship at Southern Hills.
Chef Levine has been executive chef in charge of "Player & Member Hospitality Areas" during the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005 Master's tournaments in Augusta, Georgia.
Chef Levine is a former Board of Director of the Oklahoma Restaurant Association (ORA) and an 8 year advisory board member of OSU Okmulgee Culinary program. He is actively involved in numerous local charitable organizations and events.
