For August we have summer pre-harvest farmed Mexican shrimp coming in under the Ocean Garden® and Mark® brands. Sizes available include; 41/50’s, 51/60’s, 61/70’s and some 36/40’s.For Ocean Garden® wild white’s; key sizes available include U-12’s and U-15’s and 16/20’s under the Mark® label. For Mexican wild browns, key sizes under the Compass® and Ocean Shell® brands include 16/20’s through 31/35’s.
We still have availability of larger sizes thanks to a strong Mexican wild shrimp season this past year. We have supplies of Ocean Garden®, Mark®, Compass®, and Ocean Shell® in a range of size from U-12’s through 31/35’s.
For Ocean Garden® wild white’s; key sizes available include U-12’s and U-15’s and 16/20’s under the Mark® label. For Mexican wild browns, key sizes under the Compass® and/or Ocean Shell® brands include U-15’s through 31/35’s.
For Mexican farm-raised shrimp we have availability of 26/30 P&D tail-on under our premium Pride of Mexico® retail brand. We also have availability of Ocean Garden® IQF 16/20 shell-on and block frozen 26/30 P&D tail-on.
For Latin American shrimp, we have availability of medium sizes of farm raised Peruvian shrimp under our Fiesta Garden ® label. This product has a rich beautiful orange color when cooked.
Mexican wild whites are packed in our premium grade, world famous OCEAN GARDEN® brand; as well as our standard grade MARK® brand. For Mexican wild brown shrimp, our premium brand is COMPASS®, and our standard grade product is packed under our OCEAN SHELL® brand.
When you buy our wild shrimp, you can be sure that the counts and weights are what you are looking for. Our wild shrimp (and also all of our Mexican aquaculture shrimp) is "all natural", with absolutely no chemical additions. Retailers continue to have success selling our Pride of Mexico® brand retail presentation featuring jumbo, farmed, Mexican white shrimp in one-pound bags. Pride of Mexico® can be found in supermarkets throughout the U.S. and current availability includes the IQF peeled and deveined tail-on variety in a 26/30 finished count.
